Life is full of uncertainty. You may be travelling along smoothly, then things out of your control happen and throw your life into chaos. These uncertain times can be very stressful. You’re suddenly faced with extra pressures that you didn’t have before, and you’re not sure how to cope on your own. That’s where it’s vital to reach out to a trained counsellor for help.
You may be experiencing:
- Relationship difficulties
- Stress, anxiety, or depression
- Emotional & Mental health concerns
- Addiction issues
If you need help, I’m available online or via the phone right now.
I believe everyone should be able to access help when they need it the most. My office is a safe place where clients are warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable as they share their life with me.
In person counselling offers an environment for communication to flow freely.
However, if you can’t attend in person, don’t let that stop you from accessing counselling services. For many years I’ve offered skype, zoom, facetime and phone counselling services, and they’ve proven to be an effective alternative to face-to-face counselling.
Counselling services for the Tweed Coast
Developed in the early 1950’s, Gestalt Therapy focuses on the ‘here and now’ experiences of your current life and challenges. It allows you a safe space to look at your life (in the present) and rather than search for blame, it encourages you to take responsibility.
You will learn to build awareness and mindfulness which leads to better understanding of your decision making.
Life can be tough and the added stresses in our lives can start to cause a strain on our relationships. They may be current stresses, or past hurt or trauma one that hasn’t been dealt with.
Relationship counselling is not about blame. It’s about revealing what’s troubling you, understanding each other, deepening communication, healing and managing emotions.
If you find yourself relying on a vice to get through the day, you may be suffering from an addiction. They can come at any stage of life, and no one is immune.
You may find yourself addicted to alcohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, eating disorders, shopping, sex or work.
No matter what your vice, addiction counselling is a safe way to help you heal and recover.
Have you found yourself wishing you could talk to an independent person for some real advice? Not the ‘helpful’ advice family or friends lovingly offer?
You can trust in counselling if you’ve got issues in your life where you need independent advice.
From past hurt or trauma, to not understanding your current situation or major life changes, counselling can help.
